Frequently Asked Questions: COVID-19
March 27, 2020As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread across the globe and into Africa, we are deeply concerned about its effect on you our clients, and on our people.
As you are aware President Cyril Ramaphosa on the 15 March 2020 addressed the nation, declaring that South Africa is in a national state of disaster.
Given the national drive to flatten the Covid-19 curve to prevent the rapid spread of the virus. stratogo focuses on doing what we can to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and visitors, insofar as this is possible, while still delivering and servicing our clients’ to the highest standards possible given the circumstances.
For now, our offices will remain open, but we have taken various precautionary measures including:
- keeping our employees constantly informed of the ongoing situation;
- taking steps to ensure that our premises are properly sanitised and secured.
We will support those who are required to self-isolate and have systems in place to facilitate remote working to maintain a high level of business continuity. We ask you, our clients to meet remotely via video or telephone conferencing.
A task team, which includes senior management across all our various regions, will continue to monitor the situation as it develops and may modify our response as appropriate.
Should the situation worsen to a point where we need to close our offices in the interests of protecting our employees, clients and the wider communities, we will do so. That said, we are set up to operate remotely and will continue to deliver a high standard of service to our clients regardless of location.
We will advise you of any further developments as the situation evolves.
Please take care as you and your organisations navigate through these difficult times
